Before it comes globally, the app will be tested in numerous specific countries this week. Last Friday, the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, announced the details via the Livestream.

Zuckerberg specifically told viewers that the company is taking these problems seriously, and have already learned the lessons. With Messenger and WhatsApp over 700 million people rely on Facebook every day. They join video and voice calls believing that Facebook will take care of their safety online. These numbers are growing as COVID-19 is on the rise.

The new service offers you to control the access to your chat room. You can allow people to see you or lock the conversation entirely. If the chat room is unlocked, be prepared to meet other people whom you did not call. Once you are a host of the chat, you can control users who join the conversation and can remove anyone you don’t want to see. According to Facebook, they are not listening to your calls.

Creation of Messenger Room Chat

This new feature may have already been released in your country. It means you need to learn how to navigate it and invite other people. Do this by using your phone. Follow these simple instructions:

1. Download or open the Messenger;
2. At the right corner of your screen, you will see the tab People. Tap it;
3. Now pick the Create a Room option. Select users, you want to talk to, using the list of contacts;
4. If you need to invite those users who don’t own a Facebook account, just send them the link via email. There is an option that allows you to share the invitation via the Groups, News Feed, and Events.
